Microsoft Designer is a versatile tool that offers a wide range of features to help you create and edit stunning visuals. Here are some of the key things you can do with Designer:
Create Custom Designs - You can start from scratch or use templates to create custom designs for various purposes, such as social media posts, presentations, flyers and more.
Edit Images - Designer provides powerful image editing tools, including cropping, rotating, adjusting brightness and contrast, applying filters and adding text and graphics.
Use Templates - Access a library of professionally designed templates to quickly create visually appealing content. Templates are available for different categories like business, education and personal use.
Add Text and Graphics - Enhance your designs by adding text with customisable fonts, sizes and colours. You can also insert shapes, icons and other graphics to make your designs more engaging.
Apply Effects - Experiment with advanced effects such as shadows, reflections and 3D transformations to add depth and dimension to your designs.
Collaborate with Others - Share your designs with others and collaborate in real-time. This feature is especially useful for team projects and presentations. You can save your designs in various formats like JPEG, PNG, or PDF and easily share them on social media, via email, or print them out.

How to Edit images with Designer from Microsoft Photos
To get started, open Microsoft Designer on your computer. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the Microsoft Store. Once installed, launch the application and sign in with your Microsoft account.
Click on the "Import" button to upload the image you want to edit. You can choose an image from your computer, OneDrive, or other connected storage services. Once the image is uploaded, it will appear on the canvas.
Microsoft Designer offers a variety of basic editing tools to enhance your image. Here are some of the key tools you can use:
Crop: Adjust the size and aspect ratio of your image.
Rotate: Rotate your image to the desired angle.
Adjustments: Modify the brightness, contrast, saturation and other settings to improve the overall look of your image.
Filters: Apply different filters to give your image a unique style.
4. To make your image more engaging, you can add text and graphics. Click on the "Text" button to insert text boxes and customise the font, size, colour and alignment. You can also add shapes, icons and other graphics by clicking on the "Graphics" button.
